Studio 57 started, like most beautiful things, with a quiet kind of patience.

Manita came to this country as an immigrant who started as a young woman in a new city, building her career from the ground up. She spent her early years watching, learning, and observing the small details that make a difference. She picked up the craft from the very beginning and never put it down.

With more than ten years of experience, she worked first in the salons of New York City before moving to Boston to further refine her skills. She spent a decade learning every technique, product, and method of care, building her experience step by step until the day she could finally open a place of her own.

Today, Studio 57 stands proudly as an independent, women-owned business. Supported and continuously encouraged by her daughters, who contributed their ideas to help bring the dream to life, it has evolved into a welcoming space with a decade of real practice and intention poured into every single appointment.
